A prepaid card for your tips.
What it would do
- Your tips arrive in dollars. You choose what to move to the card.
- Pay in shops and online, as with any prepaid card.
- A consumer prepaid card, run and issued by licensed partners.
- Optional. Ins Tip does not let a venue make the card a condition of work. You can always cash out to your own debit card instead.
What it runs on
- On the card, a licensed partner holds your money as a dollar stablecoin, a digital dollar. It is not a bank deposit and it is not insured.
- Each purchase with the card counts as selling a digital asset. Under today’s tax rules it has to be reported, even when the gain is nothing.
- Not offered in New York or Texas.

Web only for now. Inside a mobile app, a tip for a digital service has to use the store's own billing. An experiment: the rails exist, the demand is unproven.

Needs a founder
Agents prepare. A named human signs. Refunds, dispute answers and public claims wait here, and so does anything public while the launch gate is closed.
Test the guard
Six instructions the perimeter must refuse, and one it lets through. Each is plain data, read against rules P0 to P6 before any provider hears about it.
Release limits
Product assumptions, not facts. A wallet payment shifts liability for fraud-coded disputes to the card issuer and a typed card number does not, so a wallet releases more at every tier. Changing a limit needs a named human.
Fee policy
The service fee is always on top and paid by the payer. Nothing is deducted from a tip. The amounts are product assumptions.
